Safe Mode in Windows 10 is great for troubleshooting when you experience crashes or performance issues. When you start your PC in Safe Mode, only the basic drivers and files will be used. If the computer starts normally with Safe Mode, you will know immediately that the problem does not lie in the essential drivers. You can also start your PC in Safe Mode with Networking, which is another version of Safe Mode that adds the network drivers and services.
At least to a first approximation, that’s exactly how things work. But, there’s a little more to making files “public” in Windows 10. Maybe I was not quick in pressing F8 button, so I attempted again and still no luck.
